Terms and Conditions (Terms of Service)

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Meaamor mobile application (the "App") operated by Maneged Tech ("us", "we", or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Apple EULA: For iOS users, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which you can view here: Apple Standard EULA. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, these Terms shall govern to the extent they are not inconsistent with the Apple EULA.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.

2. Eligibility

The App is designed for couples to interact. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

  1. Age: You are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country of residence). If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.
  2. Capacity: You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
  3. Compliance: Your use of the App does not violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction (US, EU, India, or other).
  4. Relationship Status: While the App is designed for interaction between two people ("partners"), we do not verify relationship status and are not liable for interactions between users.

3. User Accounts

3.1. Account Creation

To access most features, you must register for an account using a valid email address or third-party authentication (Google/Apple). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

3.2. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password created or used to access the Service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3.3. Account Linking (Partners)

The core functionality of Meaamor requires linking your account with another user ("Partner"). By sending or accepting an invite code:

  • You consent to share your profile, quiz answers, calendar, and other user-generated content with the linked Partner.
  • You acknowledge that Meaamor cannot control what your Partner does with this information offline (e.g., screenshots).

4. User-Generated Content

4.1. License to Maneged Tech

Our App allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that Content.

However, by posting Content to the App, you grant Maneged Tech a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service (e.g., displaying your chat message on your partner's screen).

4.2. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the App to:

  1. Illegal Content: Upload or transmit content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or invasive of another's privacy.
  2. Harassment: Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability.
  3. Spam: Upload or transmit advertising or promotional material (spam).
  4. Security Violations: Transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
  5. Data Mining: Attempt to scrape, data mine, or reverse engineer the App or its APIs.

Meaamor reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove Content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Maneged Tech and its licensors.

  • Trademarks: The Meaamor name and logo are trademarks of Maneged Tech. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
  • Copyright: The App code, design, and "Personality Quiz" questions are protected by copyright laws of India, the US, and foreign countries.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

6.1. Premium Features

Meaamor may offer enhanced features ("Premium") for a fee.

  • Subscriptions: Some services are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (e.g., monthly or annually).
  • Billing: All billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store your credit card information.

6.2. Cancellations and Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.

  • Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (for iOS users) or Google Play account (for Android users) at confirmation of purchase.
  • How to Cancel: You must manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal via your Account Settings on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.

6.3. Refunds

Refund requests are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Meaamor generally cannot issue refunds directly as transactions are handled by the platforms.

6.4. Free Trials

We may offer a free trial for a limited period. You may be required to enter billing information to sign up for the free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged.

7. Disclaimers, AI Content, and Relationship Advice

THE APP IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND CONNECTION PURPOSES ONLY.

  • AI-Generated Content: Some features (e.g., Daily Quizzes, Relationship Insights, Compatibility Reports) are powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI content is generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate. Users should not rely on this content as professional advice.
  • No Professional Advice: The App, its quizzes, and its suggestions do not constitute professional psychological, relationship, medical, or legal advice. If you have serious relationship issues or mental health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.
  • "As Is" Basis: Use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Maneged Tech, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses;
  • Damages resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Jurisdictional Cap: In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Maneged Tech and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1. For Users in India

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

10.2. For Users in the United States

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware (or your state of residence where required), without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration on an individual basis, and you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

10.3. For Users in the European Union

If you are a consumer residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may benefit from mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service and request account deletion via App settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material (e.g., changes to pricing or data usage rights), we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
